As explained on the official LotRO boards, due to unexpected disruptions, we'll be unable to hold the meeting tonight and in light of that I'd like to go over all that would've been discussed at the meeting here on the forums and ask all to respond with your thoughts on each individual matter. Though the meeting is life or death for us its always nice to organize ourselves, so here goes nothing.
To start with I've for some time now been working on a website, one that actually has a bit of appeal to it and I *hope* that I've been successful. The link is here: www.guildportal.com/Guild.aspx?GuildID=116705&TabID=996023. I ask all to sign up and I'll give you access to the website, we'll be moving our forums and website there and therefore need ALL to join in. Please if any have feedback or ideas to improve the site in any ways post them here, because as always I'm openning to hearing what all have to say so we can change for the better of the citizens of The Guard.
Secondly I'd like to bring up the matter of guild activity on both the Lord Of The Rings Official Forums and our own, though I understand that many have socially active and demanding lives, I beg of you all to attempt to stop in and just say hello whenever the oppurtunity reveals itself. In order to keep our community strong we must communicate with one another and keep up to date with the whole of the Kinship, whether you're just stopping in to review a new movie you just saw, or start up a new epic adventure in the roleplaying forums I beg that you post whenever the option is given to you.
Thirdly, I'd like to bring the matter of Recruitment up. We're growing at a steady rate, which is fine by me, for we've no need to become a massive guild, but I just want to clarify a few questions that I've been asked by some. Many have brought the question: Can my friends join in the Kinship as well? up with me. I hate that you all feel the need to ask me, recruitment is open and all are welcome to apply, I'm sure if they're friends of those qualified to be with us, they themselves will qualify as well. And on the second note of recruitment, though its not too important, I'd like for all if possible to post on our own Official thread on the LotRO forums. Though it *Should* be the content of a thread that lures people, unfortunately not all have the time to search through pages and pages of guilds, so we should try to keep our thread up on the top, no need to go over the top and post every hour, just once a day, or even a week just discussing things would help us tremendously.
Finally as I've brought up at the past two meetings I want to ask if any have suggestions for how to improve our guild in any way.
I'd like to say that this should be basically the last thread that will be active on these forums..once we've gotten sufficient feedback to this thread, making sure all have read and know we're moving, I'll shut down the forum. For the last time, sorry for the trouble this evening, and hope it hasn't ruined anyones evening .
Thank you in Advance my family,
